For one full week the Museum's prime galleries will be transformed into a festive shopping bazaar that features:
• Traditional Tibetan arts and crafts including handcrafted snow leopards & tigers from Lhasa, Tibet, created by UNESCO artists
• Hand-woven rugs and pillows depicting traditional and contemporary motifs, as well as cultural scenes of Tibetan life
• One-of-kind Tibetan decorative objects as well as prayer flags, chimes and incense
• Traditional and contemporary clothing
• Stunning jewelry handmade by Tibetan artisans
• Books on Tibetan art, culture and healing including the Museum's classic Tibet collection catalogue "From the Sacred Realm: Treasures of Tibetan Art from the Newark Museum" (supplies are limited) and children's Tibetan-themed coloring books
