Bring the entire family for a fiesta of music, mural making and hands-on activities in celebration of Latino cultures.  Discover the power of the arts to connect people and cultures from the Americas and the Caribbean.

Activities (first-come, first-served)

• Enjoy hands-on art and science activities

• Explore the science exhibits Skies Alive and Dynamic Earth: Revealing Nature's Secrets with Dr. Ismael Calderon, Director of Science

• Create a mural with guest artist Manuel Acevedo

• Participate in bilingual interactive tours of Museum treasures


Performances:

2 pm  Enjoy the sounds of Cinco Mayor (salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia and the Afro-Cuban beat)

3:30  Celebrate the music, song and creation stories of the Taino people with Roberto Mucaro Borrero
