| ‘Deep Dives’ are a new informal learning format designed for concentrated learning in the arts and natural sciences. Sign up for one session at a time or subscribe to a series. Beauty, Power and Status: A Cross-Cultural Look at Self-Adornment Explore why the simple act of adorning our bodies (getting dressed, putting on make-up or wearing jewelry) has complex social, cultural and historical implications that go far beyond simple aesthetics.
