NEH Conferences

2011
The Newark Museum has been awarded a grant by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for the 2011-2012 school year to present a series of educational conferences for educators related to American art and history.

2010
During 2010, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) the Museum presented a series of conferences for school teachers and librarians from across the nation.  Two hundred participants from 33 states in the Union came to Newark to take part in this remarkable professional development.
The conferences complemented the NEH’s curriculum entitled “Picturing America” (see: http://picturingamerica.neh.gov/)
