The Newark Museum has been awarded a grant by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for the 2011-2012 school year to present a series of educational conferences for educators related to American art and history.

These lively and informative conferences will be directed at New Jersey educators who are recipients of the NEH’s Picturing America teaching resource.  The series, “The Great Transformation: Picturing America from the Gilded Age to World War II,” will explore significant events and themes connected with America’s rise in the modern era.
