And enjoy related programs including Blu-ray movie screenings and your chance to win your own copy.Hollywood may have made the movie, but truth be told E.T.’s communicator was devised right here in New Jersey. Following its film’s debut in 1982, an exact replica was donated by Bell Labs to the Newark Museum. Here’s your chance to relive this endearing tale of E.T. with your children and your friends. E.T. “Phone Home” Workshop Design and take home your own “Phone Home” device that lights up and buzzes your message to the stars! Participants discover the science behind creating circuits and conducting electricity using hand-made insulating and conductive play dough.
