Seniors are invited for a series of afternoon programs that includes musical performances, film screenings, gallery discussions, art making and scientific inquiries. February 19 Celebrate Black History Month
Performance: Harriet Tubman–The Chosen One Gwendolyn Briley-Strand portrays the strength, courage, faith and steadfastness of Harriet Tubman—once a slave herself—who led more more than 300 other slaves to freedom.
March 12 Women's History Month
Film Screening: Louise Nevelson–Awareness in the 4th Dimension directed by documentary filmmaker Dale Schierholt Following the film screening there will be a sculpture making workshop and tours of the exhibition, Constructive Spirit.
